Naked Truth / Innocent Lie is a diptych exploring the tension between honesty and distortion, exposure and protection. These two works exist in dialogue, forming a psychological space where truth and lie are not opposites, but interconnected states of human experience.

Naked Truth captures the moment of complete inner exposure — when all protective layers fall away, leaving a person alone with their raw, unfiltered self. It is a state of vulnerability that feels both liberating and unbearable.

Innocent Lie, in contrast, reflects a quieter, more ambiguous condition. Here, truth is softened, reshaped into something more acceptable, more livable. The lie does not разрушает — it protects, cushions, and gradually distances a person from reality.

Both figures are faceless and fragmented, emphasizing universality and shifting the focus to body language. The gestures create tension: contraction, restraint, and an attempt to maintain internal balance. Together, the works reveal how a person moves between two states — brutal honesty and gentle self-deception.

The color palette unites the diptych through deep dark tones — black, umber, dark brown — contrasted with warm highlights of ochre, bronze, and skin tones. Light plays a crucial role: in Naked Truth it exposes, while in Innocent Lie it softens and conceals.

Within the Comfort Zone series, the diptych raises essential questions:
Is truth always necessary?
Can deception be a form of care?
And how do we navigate between what is real and what is bearable?
