Here’s a story about how, in a world where nature is retreating before construction, even the most different animals learn to stay close. In the picture - an owl and a grey rat. They sit on the stump of a tree that was recently cut down to clear space for a new building.
Once, the owl would have hunted the rat, and the rat would have fled at the sight of the owl. But today, they face a common problem - a disappearing forest. Now they are together. The owl watches the surroundings, while the rat listens to every rustle. They both understand: to survive, they need to stick together.
It’s a reminder that even in difficult times, support can be found - sometimes in the most unexpected companion.
