This painting is a large Trompe L'oeil on MDF. It is surreal and realistic in that the shelf is floating with William Morris wallpaper behind on a slight slope, giving the viewer an unsettled feeling. I painted a series of three of these paintings while spending a summer in France.
This painting is quite heavy. It will be reinforced with hardboard and bubble wrap.
It will be delivered by courier, insured and signed for.
