This painting is inspired by ancient Greek mythology and the epics of the Iliad and the Odyssey by the now almost unread poet Homer.
The love of two young people depicted on the canvas takes place against the backdrop of the ongoing cruel Trojan War. Maybe it is Paris with Helen, maybe Achilles with Briseis, maybe Hector with Andromache...
And maybe with this painting I wanted to express my opposition to the cruelty, filth and senselessness of all wars, which are the opposite of pure love between people.
