Exhibited at Palm Springs Modernism Show 2026.
Inspiration: Although the definition of Trip The Light Fantastic is to “dance nimbly,” this painting is actually a reference to the song of the same name by Greta Van Fleet. The song is from my favorite album by the Michigan-based band Battle at Garden’s Gate. The album itself led me out of a deep depression when it came out, and inspired me to paint many works like this one, including Caravel on the Horizon.
