Trip Around the World is a unique early artwork by Alexander Levich, created during a period when the artist focused on building imaginative worlds shaped by memory, emotion, and spiritual reflection. Rather than depicting physical reality, the painting invites the viewer into a parallel universe filled with symbolic forms and dream-like imagery.

The composition consists of twelve individual oil paintings assembled into a single work through a custom-painted golden frame. This framing device acts as a conceptual boundary between everyday perception and an inner, fantastical dimension. Each panel contributes to the overall journey while remaining open to interpretation.

Levich’s layered technique of semi-transparent oil paint in warm yellow and green tones creates depth, luminosity, and subtle spatial tension. Fine contrasting lines enhance movement and visual rhythm, making this work both immersive and contemplative.
