Original artwork description:

This place is a nature reserve not far from my studio.
It was formed out of an old chalk quarry, which left a huge depression in the land, leading to eventual lakes forming at the base. It was largely untouched for many years, but now with careful management, it is a welcome stop for nature loving visitors, like me.

This painting began life as a demonstration lesson for local artists, which didn’t need much finishing back in my studio.
It measures 16” x 12” unframed, it is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

Professional quality oil paints and varnishes and passion
