Artist's description:

Transition...From darkness to light...that was what motivated me to paint this seascape. The moon yet to disappear and the sun almost getting ready to show up.
As I was painting, I saw a few black floaters that appeared in front of my right eye, I ignored and continued to paint only to realize by the evening that my retina in the right eye had detached and I had lost most of the vision in that eye. I had to fly to India from Muscat to have my emergency surgery the next day. Now, just after the surgery, I am recovering with positive thoughts, looking forward to regaining my vision to paint will take time, but I am hopeful that it will happen. I do hope that light and dawn are around the corner. After all, the only thing that drives life is hope, doesn't it?
Transitions are hard, but not permanent.
