An abstract vertical cityscape - Acrylic painting on stretched canvas, the sides are painted to black, so you can hang it without a frame.

My abstract acrylic painting, “Tower of Babel”, depicts the dynamic urban landscape in a colorful and complex way. I use green, yellow, red, and orange shades to create a variety of architectural features that blend together in a striking pattern. The shapes are distorted and abstracted, challenging our usual ways of seeing and thinking about human achievements. The title refers to the ancient story that warns us of the risks of overreaching and the power of greater forces. The buildings look like they are stitched together, suggesting that they are not permanent or stable, while the proportions and qualities of the painting defy conventional views. This artwork invites you to experience the vibrant mood, the harmony of colors, and the broken beauty that it offers, as well as to reflect on your own place in the city.
