Original artwork description
I just spent a week in Zermatt, a skiing resort in Switzerland._x000D_
This painting is based on a photo I took when we went snowshoeing. The walk was simply idyllic. No one around, the deep snow and the majestic Matterhorn in front of us. Nature at it's best!_x000D_
The Matterhorn is the iconic mountain of Zermatt and of Switzerland. In fact, the unusual shape of the Toblerone chocolate is based on the shape of the Matterhorn._x000D_
I used a rough watercolour paper which means there is a very textured quality to the painting._x000D_

Due to problems with shipping to several countries ( except Europe ) because of Covid restrictions, I have decided to use a courier, which means a significant hike in shipping prices. _x000D_
If you don't mind waiting for the delivery I can use the normal Post, with cheaper prices, and I will gladly reimburse the excess shipping cost. Just send me a message, if that is the case._x000D_
