🎨 Capturing the Moment
This original watercolour painting is a personal memory brought to life. It depicts a sun-drenched street scene, bustling with life and shaded by café umbrellas and lush trees.

I was inspired to create this piece after revisiting photos I took while traveling a few years ago. The goal was to capture the warm light, the deep shadows, and the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere of that exact moment.

The Process

Painted using professional-grade watercolours on archival paper, I focused on a loose, impressionistic style to convey the feeling of the day rather than every fine detail. The result is a piece that feels both immediate and nostalgic.

Saunders waterford 140lb watercolour paper and Winsor and newton artist watercolour paints
