I live in a city where medieval towers are the usual landscape that presents itself to me every time I walk in the streets or I look out the window of my study. So these images of the towers are so imprinted in my mind that I can safely use them as icons to be organized to my liking on the canvas. The result is a series of paintings that represent a city than ever before because it is a figment of my imagination and my rework.
In this case for adapting the work to the theme of the stones I used to support a slab of stoneware, very heavy and very present, very "physical".

Vivo in una città in cui le torri medievali costituiscono il paesaggio consueto che mi si presenta ogni volta che passeggio per le strade o mi affaccio alla finestra del mio studio. Così queste immagini delle torri sono talmente impresse nella mia mente che posso usarle tranquillamente come delle icone da organizzare a mio piacimento sulla tela.
Il risultato è una serie di dipinti che rappresentano una città mai vista perché è un frutto della mia fantasia e della mia rielaborazione.
In questo caso, per adeguare il lavoro al tema delle pietre ho usato come supporto una lastra di gres, molto pesante e molto presente, molto "fisico".
