Artist's description:

This waterfall can be found when exploring Glacier National Park's scenic wonders. Its commanding presence urged me to paint it with palette knife. I love the way a palette knife feels when applying paint to canvas-- as if it's carving the painting. An apt fit for boulders hewn by torrential waterworks, tumbling through a a forest of hardy pines, and into deep, mysterious pools of cool refreshment.

Materials used:

walnut oil paint applied with palette knife

Torrential (2017)
