Tumultuoso e mutevole (2021) Original Oil Painting by Gianluca Cremonesi

This painting was awarded during the selections for the 14th Rome Biennale. Work inspired and performed following the emotions due to the lockdown due to Covid-19 and a series of problems that I wanted to represent on the canvas through this wave ... I played with the transparencies of the water and with the contrast with the dark sky and threatening clouds.
It is an oil painting on deep edge canvas 70x100 cm. with high thickness that does not need a frame, it has been painted with high quality professional colors and mediums to ensure durability.
The live colors may be slightly different from what you see on the PC, also due to the settings, however I personally guarantee the quality of the work that in person surprises and excites much more than in photography!
It is a work with a surrealist matrix, but in some ways it also recalls an abstract, capturing on the waves the games that light enjoys playing!
