Original artwork description:

Tom, Jerry and Sam.

A cozy house. There is a bouquet of daisies in a vase on the windowsill. The flowers seem to breathe, filling the space with sunlight and summer warmth.

Sam the cat is sitting on the table. His eyes are wide with surprise. He is watching Tom the cat from the cartoon "Tom and Jerry" with interest, who, having made a funny face, is preparing to join the fight. Standing between them is Jerry, a charming mouse with a playful look, making eyes and clearly enjoying the situation. He seems to be playing with both sides, adding an element of humor and lightness to this funny scene.

The picture makes you smile and feel nostalgic, because it's so nice to remember the carefree childhood days spent watching cartoons. It conveys the feeling of a game between reality and imagination, showing how the art world can combine different genres and styles.

Artist's Statement

I present a series of paintings "A Fairy tale in my Life" in which reality collides with a fairy tale come to life. In my works, I strive to create a unique space where classical art is intertwined with vivid cartoon characters, fairy tales and fantasy films. These characters seem to break into the daily flow of events, bringing with them irony and a bit of chaos, turning the familiar world upside down.

Since childhood, I dreamed that dolls would be alive, so that they could talk and move. One of my favorite movies, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, was a real revelation to me. In this film, cartoon characters live with people, and this idea has always fascinated me. I often fantasized about what would happen if my favorite characters lived next to us, interacted with our reality, disrupting the usual order of things.

In the process of creating this series of paintings, I realized that even though I had grown up, cartoons and fairy-tale worlds still occupy an important place in my life. They remind me of how important it is to keep a childlike sincerity and the ability to be surprised. Each work is an attempt to capture this amazing moment when two worlds meet: the real and the fabulous, where boundaries blur and the mundane becomes magical.

I hope that my paintings can inspire viewers to think about how a miracle can exist next to us, if only we are ready to see it.
