Original artwork description
Mixed media canvas of Tollesbury salt marshes on the coast of Essex, England. It’s a fairly undiscovered part of the country with wonderful light & unique scenery. The building on the horizon is the now disused Bradwell power station. I was drawn to the juxtaposition of the monolithic building against the tranquil marshland and sea. Another painting from this Tollesbury series will be on display at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London from 21 June – 21 August 2022.
This canvas is now being sold framed in a white floating frame.
Large high quality archival giclee prints are also available of this painting, printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper 310gsm - a lovely paper with a fine surface texture. The prints meet the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper and in my opinion are a perfect reproduction of the original, enhanced by the dramatic scale of the print.
The last photo in the artwork images shows one of the prints in my live + work studio.
