Original artwork description
The first painting I sold in Art finder was titled "When the city sleeps" and it is one of my favorite paintings. Now it has a new home and that makes me happy. But I missed it like I miss all paintings I have to say goodbye to. I wanted to walk again in a city that sleeps, that celebrates, that has secrets and stories to tell. That is how the original 50x70cm artwork was created. Made with acrylic colors and acrylic ink. Part of series featuring cities around the world or your imagination. You choose where you want to be very time you decide to walk around the streets of "Today we celebrate".
The use of golden acrylic color gives to this city light that reflects on the windows of the buildings. Just move around it and you will see so many different parts of the day. From dawn to dusk.
I greatly enjoyed creating this painting and I am happy to share it with all of you.
