Original artwork description
At the mouth of the Dee Estuary are a group of tidal islands called Little Eye, Middle Eye and the largest island Hilbre. The Islands are cut off from the mainland by the tide for up to four hours out of every twelve.
It is possible to visit the islands if crossing before high water but walkers are advised to take the safe route across which is the inspiration for this piece.
