This is the oil and acrylic painting on high quality linen and custom made canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials.
I'm inspired by the structure of Saturn's Moons. This one was inspired by the surface of the satellite called Titan. It is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest natural satellite in the Solar System. Name inspired of the mythological Titans, brothers and sisters of Cronus, the Greek Saturn. In Greek mythology, the Titans were a race of powerful deities, descendants of Gaia and Uranus, that ruled during the legendary Golden Age.
Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork.
