Scottish Hebridean thatched cottage landscape.
A thatched croft house or Blackhouse typical of the traditional architecture of the Hebridean Islands and the west coast highlands of Scotland, especially on the inner Hebridean island of Tiree.
In this artwork I have tried to convey the atmosphere of a bright sunny day, with a clear blue sky and the remoteness of the cottage sitting among the machair or flower meadows which cover much of the island.
Painted in a contemporary style .
Painted using quality artists acrylics on a square format 16" x 16" (40 x 40cm) on board, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.
