This artwork is the transposition on wood of a vision I had one day at home. I was just back from the summer vacations and I felt, for no reason, empty and alone. I then had the vision of myself surrounded by a big, white void and decided to make a painting of it. I decided to paint the tiny me in a position already used for the ‘Everybody brings a light’ project and add it to the series. I painted “Tiny me” on wood spending long time to make the white background shine as if it was painted with glaze, letting the brush strokes stand out to give an idea of chaos around the figure.
“Tiny me” is an oil on wood painting 80x60cm, signed on the back and provided with a unique certificate of authenticity.
