In this painting, subtle gradients and smooth transitions between light and shadow try create a range of organic, wave-like patterns that convey a sense of continuous movement. I wanted to depict an illusionary landscape that invites introspection and interpretation. It's an elegy to the power of simplicity, where every brushstroke and gradation serves a purpose, pulling the observer into a serene, almost meditative state.
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
