Original artwork description
One of a kind artwork. The painting is made in the style of surrealism with elements of realistic painting. It depicts two pigeons standing on the backs of turtles. Each pigeon carries a postal item: one holds an envelope in its beak, and the other a small rolled-up parcel on a string. The turtles, in turn, surround snails, and the snails also sit on their shells. The composition of the painting is symbolic: pigeons are traditionally associated with mail and fast delivery of letters, and turtles and snails are symbols of slowness. This combination creates a game of contrasts between speed and inconvenience; with the help of traditional and unusual mail, I wanted to convey the idea that information can spread at different speeds. Signed on the front and back of the canvas, the painting will be carefully packed in thick cardboard and film.
