This large simplistic cat painting is celebrating the cosy pretty things of life, lately I find myself drawn to folk art and the delights of patterns so I've combined my love of cats and a cuppa and blended them all together. After painting the patterns and bright colours I decided to calm the entire artwork down with a dark wash which has given it a pleasingly almost vintage feel.
Time For A Cuppa has been painted with acrylic paints on an 80 x 80 cm stretched deep edge canvas and sealed with varnish. It is ready to hang.
This is most definately a characterful statement piece and would make a marvellous addition to the right home.
