Original artwork description
Tidal Interval is an abstract acrylic painting born from my fascination with layered movement and quiet visual depth.
I built this composition through successive layers of acrylic paint, allowing broad horizontal bands to interact with softened textures and subtle linear accents. Cool blue and teal tones flow across the surface, balanced by warm beige, off-white, and muted brown shades. Areas of scraped paint and gentle drips reveal the process beneath, giving the work a sense of openness and authenticity.
I worked with brushes and a palette knife, alternating between controlled gestures and spontaneous marks. Some sections feel fluid and expansive, while others are grounded and textured, creating a visual rhythm that changes with light and distance.
This painting is designed to enhance modern, contemporary, and minimalist interiors. Its calming yet expressive palette makes it ideal for a living room, bedroom, or refined office space where art becomes a focal point without overpowering the environment.
Tidal Interval is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, signed by me and created with professional acrylics on canvas.
