Original artwork description
Painted en plain air and finished at home this was drawn and painted in the fading of a sunset into a yellow October evening on the bridge at Ticklepenny Lock in Louth, Lincolnshire. Framed in a reclaimed frame and painted with the same yellow spray paint I’ve used in the painting this brings a fresh pop perspective to the historic modernity of canals and country landscapes. One of my favorite sunsets with touches of neon orange airbrush.
