A large, striking oil painting inspired by the beauty of the floral world around us, in particular the vibrancy of red roses. I keep coming back to abstract representations of flowers, loving the intensity of their colours as well as their vibrancy. The painting was built over many layers of thick, impasto oil. The painting is reflecting a joyful, playful mood. This artwork is eye catching in its vibrancy and size making it a focal point in any room.
The edges of the box canvas have been painted in a complementary colour. Hooks are fixed on the back so the canvas is ready for hanging.
