Calming, minimalist, black and white palm tree art. I captured these trees in Carlsbad, California. The trees, photographed in infrared, contrast against the solid black background. Monochromatic, limited-edition, infrared prints.

Infrared photography allows us to see the world illuminated by light invisible to the human eye. It reflects off foliage, creating a soft, otherworldly glow. Infrared light is also absorbed by water and sky, resulting in high-contrast images with an ephemeral, dream-like quality.

It is printed with pigment inks and is available in the following limited-edition sizes, which include a white border for ease of matting:
