Original artwork description
Painted in two stages - the first stage involved creating a loose wash. In the second stage the bee was painted(without any preliminary drawing) and some of the lavender defined loosely. Photo references used were my own, taken in our garden. Watching the bumblebees fly from one flower to another collecting pollen is so inspiring. I spend many happy hours observing, sketching and photographing!_x000D_
