Threads of Stories #1 is a magical surreal fantasy landscape painting that uses the fragmentation of collage to layer imagery and create a complex landscape. The contrast of modern geometric and mystical plants inspired by tapestry create a wonderful contrast and add to the dream like feeling. This is the first in a series of explorations in this style.
This is an original painting on artist stretched canvas. It is painted in acrylic paint finished with a satin varnish which enhances the colours.
