Original artwork description
This painting of a jaguar means a great deal to me.
It was my first pastel work.
I’m a coloured pencil artist and had long shied away from pastels. “Thoughts are free” changed that.
This close-up of the jaguar shows very well how a big cat, normally considered dangerous, can also be completely calm and composed.
The small scars on its nose bear witness to a life that has not been easy, and it appears alert, almost a little curious.
The picture was drawn with soft pastels on pastelmat, measuring 40 x 30 cm, and will be sent in a simple plexiglass frame for protection.
Materials used:
Soft Pastels on Pastelmat
Details:
- Pastel drawing on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 50 x 40 x 2cm (framed)
- Framed and ready to hang
- Signed on the front
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Animals and birds
