A valuable exercise in Art Foundation was to get back to the basics of mark making. The idea being to park 15 years of art schooling and highlight how marks in themselves have a life of their own, without needing to impersonate some other thing out there in ‘real’ life. In the same vein it’s revealing to strip back one’s own life, both physically and mentally to see:
