ORIGINAL AWARD WINNING OGNYAN CHITAKOV ARTWORK !!!

2023, "Theory Of Relativity" - stone sculpture

This original marble and andesite sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the talented Bulgarian contemporary professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, deeply inspired by geometrical abstraction, modernism, De Stijl and fractal cubism. It is a stunning abstract style scenery and it's an amazing maze of white marble and green andesite pieces of rock, each polished and carved. The artist's concept is to create an unique three dimensional spatial form with the help of extraordinary labyrinth of lines, details, and depths, both in order and disorder, very much connected with the Dutch art movement De Stijl ("The Style"), also known as Neoplasticism and the theory of relativity by Albert Einstein, where special relativity, which applies to all physical phenomena in the absence of gravity and general relativity, which explains the law of gravitation and its relation to the forces of nature, apply to the cosmological and astrophysical realm in contemporary astronomy. The artwork is one amazing modern masterpiece and exquisite home décor.

"The stone material is alive and has a soul. I never ignore it and its gravity as well. I try to give each artwork the feeling of lightness." ... by the artist
