Theatre of the Rising Sun is a pair with Theatre Japan Modern, also in my portfolio.
I have chosen warm sun colours & a linear style to express the drama of this interesting Japanese artist & model. From a Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay, Australia.
Exhibited at Gold Coast Art Gallery, Surfers Paradise. 2014 Border Prize Exhibition.
Painted on fine watercolour canvas stretched over a timber frame. Ready to hang.
No need to frame as wrap-around edges are painted (white). Dhooks and strong cord are included (with adjustable length).
Carefully packed to avoid damage in transit
Shipped in a cardboard box.
