- The white trees
Original artwork description
I liked these white(ish) trees standing out against layers of green, with a red roof to compliment them. I’ve taken a few liberties: the trees had a little foliage, but I liked the dramatic effect of leaving them bare, and the silhouetted banana leaves in the foreground were not initially intended, but I liked the way they looked in turquoise in the underpainting, so just enhanced them. I think it makes fora better composition than a realistic rendering.
Materials used:
Acrylic on watercolour paper
Details:
- Acrylic painting on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 56 x 76cm (unframed) / 55 x 75cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the front
- Style: Impressionistic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
