This abstracted sunset painting is made using home made squeegees, with minimal brushwork. I like the way chance and deliberation coexist in this method of working, producing startling effects emphasising the beautiful materiality of paint itself. This piece combines more readily discernible representational features with more expressive abstracted elements.

The work is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness, on professional quality Italian fine grain stretched canvas by Belle Arti measuring 50 cm by 50 cm.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.
