In creating this piece, I sought to capture a moment suspended in time, dripping with the raw essence of Americana. The vivid realism intertwined with symbolic elements such as the "WHISKEY By the Drink" and "LO-GAS" signs evoke a narrative of journey and pause. This painting explores themes of transition and temporality, portrayed through the figure of a lone traveler against a backdrop that speaks to both nostalgia and the inexorable march of progress. The ambiance it brings to any space is one of contemplation and a deep, resonating connection to the expansive narrative of life on the road.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed in cardboard box with bubble wrap. It is signed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
