The dust that settles on what is precious, yet untouched for a long time.
The Value of Dust" perfectly captures that limbo where there is a place for you, Attention is missing, the state of being seen, not observed, left on a chair that is too fragile, like a valuable object that no one has reached for in ages.
Behind her stands a figure whose orange dress is a shout of color. Her gaze, oblique and melancholy, reflects the anticipation of the seated woman. It is as if she were the echo of a passed-down neglect, an inheritance of solitude. Everything is "cared for," everything is "cherished," yet overlooked. It is a stagnant kind of care, as if it had settled upon them like a veil of silent dust.
