Original oil painting, in a white frame. Inspired by Charles Ives' the Unanswered Question, a philosophical meditation on "The Perennial Question of Existence". Consisting of three independent sounds: strings, a muted trumpet, and four flutes. The strings are eternal and unchanging, the trumpet intrudes into the silence and asks the Question, with the flutes hunting for the "Answer". It's a lovely piece of music and this painting is an attempt at asking the question in an abstract way.
