2020, "The Trap II" - lithograph, limited edition

This beautiful piece of lithography is created by used an image drawn with wax onto the surface of a smooth, level lithographic stone plate. The surface is treated with a mixture of acid and gum Arabic, etching the portions that are not protected by the grease-based image. When the plate is subsequently moistened, these etched areas retains water; an oil-based black ink is then applied and is repelled by the water, sticking only to the original drawing. The ink is finally transferred to a blank paper sheet, producing a printed page.
This unique fine art masterpiece is a limited edition lithograph of seven prints and it will never be printed again.
