Based on the fantasy of psychedelic enlightenment, the cactus plants seem to pop-out of the canvas when set against the dark blue background. Inspired by the scorching landscapes of the Tenerife island, this work was created as an homage to the traditional image of the cactus. This free-form painting is illustrative of the more abstract experimentation that Virtosu is working with in 2021.
