A Chorus of Sunbeams had me reaching for the brightest yellows and deepest indigos on my palette because I wanted to see if I could actually paint the feeling of golden sunlight on flowers. This piece is for the dreamers; those who aren't afraid of a little magic and a lot of colour. It’s a whimsical celebration of nature’s hidden personality, where petals have a life of their own and the sky moves in playful, energetic swirls. I wanted to bottle the feeling of a perfect morning. In a world that can sometimes feel a bit grey and structured, this painting is a window to a place that is always bright and hopeful.
