This is a work which I have done as a commission. It is to match a set of Art Deco doors. It is an abstract of yellow tulips with strong random black outlining. Shading shows the direction of the sunlight on the garden.
The title of the painting refers to a poem by Louis MacNiece 'The Sunlight on the Garden'.
