Artwork description:

“The Sun” is a limited edition linocut print hand-carved and hand-printed. This graphic artwork uses bold shapes and warm tones to evoke light and energy in a striking minimalist composition.

Printed on high-quality archival paper, each print is numbered, hand-signed by the artist, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Ideal for modern interiors, studios, or as a standout focal piece.

Details:
– Technique: linocut (hand-printed)
– Edition: limited (10)
– Paper: acid-free paper (220 gsm)
– Signed & numbered
– Certificate of Authenticity

Traditional lubok miniatures inspired me to create this work. Working on its composition, I tried to maintain the style of lubok art as much as possible. At the same time, I somewhat increased the colour saturation and the size of the image, as the original lubki were primarily printed miniature illustrations. The work was done in 7 colourful layers using water-based Talence and Schmincke paints and 220-gram Fabriano paper.

Materials used:

Linoleum, ink, acid-free paper
