This original duo captures the stillness of a winter landscape, where bare trees and soft snowfall create a sense of calm and quiet reflection. Painted as companion pieces, each 8"x8" work offers its own moment, while together, forming an atmospheric scene. Subtle texture and muted tones, express the feeling of a snow covered ground and the gentle rhythm of trees resting through winter. These pieces are part of a larger series I am working on and thoroughly enjoying, finding stillness in an often chaotic, loud world.

These pieces are a combination of acrylic paint and collage images on cradled wood, and ready to hang. I often take photos of the surrounding trees of our home and use them in my collage work. Crows, flocks of field birds, wild grasses, and trees are images I love to use.

I am offering 20" x 20" un-stretched canvas versions of these paintings in a separate listing for those who would like larger images without needing any framing, if desired. They will come with a generous border to allow easy stretching or they can be framed flat in a frame of your choice.
