The Sirens enticed sailors to their deaths with their dangerously alluring songs. Every day, the allure - maybe the illusion - of a better life lures many to risk their lives crossing treacherous seas. They pay their coin to the ferryman - the greedy, insatiable ferryman - but too often pay a terrible price.
