Original artwork description
"The Silent Moon" came together during a quiet moment of reflection. It’s about presence without words, like the moon, always there, calm and watchful. I built it up slowly, layer by layer, letting shapes and rhythms find their place. The color palette blends deep reds, earthy browns, blues, purples and orange. These colors are grounded and quietly powerful. The canvas surface has a gentle texture and richness from the many layers of paint, revealing depth as you move closer. The style draws on my fascination of Cubism and geometric abstraction, breaking up shapes, reassembling them, and finding harmony through contrast.
Medium: Acrylic paint and acrylic marker on gallery grade canvas.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork has been finished with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust.
The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6 cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
