THE SILENT EYE
Matted Fine art photography print
Image size 21x28 cm
Mat size 30x40cm
A single raindrop resting on lichen transforms into an eye — as if the northern forest itself were quietly watching.

Inna Etuvgi’s macro photography turns this fleeting detail into a poetic vision of nature as something alive, aware, and deeply connected to us.
This work continues Etuvgi’s exploration of lichens as symbols of resilience and mystery — organisms that feel both earthly and otherworldly. Shaped by her Arctic childhood and her grandmother’s teachings, the artist sees nature as never passive: it observes, responds, and carries its own presence.
Printed on archival fine art paper with pigment inks, this limited edition work is signed and numbered by the artist. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
A unique piece for collectors and nature lovers, The Silent Eye captures both the fragility and the silent strength of life hidden in the smallest forms.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.
Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi uses her camera and Generative AI as a "visual prosthesis" to externalize deep emotional landscapes. Her macro photography magnifies nature’s smallest details, urging a shift from a human-centered worldview to one of interconnectedness.
Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, Etuvgi’s work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”
