This work reflects on the trace each human being leaves on the earth through their actions, choices and presence. Every life creates an imprint, visible or invisible, and these marks become part of a larger human and spiritual landscape.
The idea of the shadow is central to the painting. The shadow makes us equal in the universe: it carries the same intensity, regardless of who we are, but it is divided into countless parts — as many as there are human lives. Each fragment becomes a sign of existence, a silent testimony of passage, memory and belonging.
Through its delicate network of lines, subtle tones and layered surface, the work suggests the invisible connections between people and the traces they leave behind. It is a meditation on presence, equality, fragility and the shared condition of human life.
