Original artwork description
60 x 80 cm - paper and acrylic on canvas - 2020
This painting deals with "impostor syndrome", also called "self-made syndrome". This psychological mechanism creates an excessive feeling of doubt in people who develop it, especially about their own success. Individuals therefore do not feel legitimate and expect to be unmasked at any time. They then attribute their success to external factors: luck, chance, relationships, etc.
I personally developed this syndrome twice: during my PhD and now, with my art pratice.
The canvas is varnished and equipped with a hanging system.
Materials used:
Paper and acrylic on canvas
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 60 x 80 x 4cm (unframed)
- Ready to hang
- Signed on the front
- Style: Collage
- Subject: People and portraits
